Exploring Opportunities: Lunch with Academic Faculty and Industry/Non-profit Representatives Chair & Co-Chair: TBD Event Outline: Each table at this lunch event will have either an academic faculty member or an company representative who has previously transitioned from academic research. Trainees will be able to choose which table they would like to sit at and engage in a 50 minute discussion regarding career advancement. The structure of this event will allow for personalized small group discussion, specific advice on career development, and the opportunity to network with many academic, industry, and non-profit professionals. |

Fostering Diversity in Academia and Industry Chair & Co-Chair: TBD Event Outline: The panel will consist of a diverse group of speakers who have navigated academic institutions or companies as underrepresented minorities and now seek to improve policies, mentoring, and leadership to better support scientists of diverse backgrounds.
