GETTING TO ST. CHARLES

Centrally located in America’s heartland, St. Charles is an easy drive or quick flight away. With an average of 500 daily flights and 68 non-stop destinations, St. Louis Lambert International Airport  is only 10 minutes away with convenient access to interstates and the MetroLink light rail system.

Trolley 

Saint Charles Area Transit System 

The Saint Charles Area Transit System (SCAT) consists of 5 bus routes that provide transportation to various locations within the City of St. Charles as well as to the Metrolink North Hanley Station. All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts. Contact SCAT at 636-949-3364.  All routes run Monday through Friday. Please allow 5 to 10 minutes leeway for each time listed. The routes and schedules are subject to change.​The Foundry Art Centre serves as the hub for the system. 

Saint Charles Trolley

The St. Charles Trolley runs from March 15th to December 31st. The 40 minute loop serves our destination by offering a free and easy alternative to driving. Whether traveling on business or visiting with friends and family to attend some of our many great events, or in the city participating in a convention, you'll find the St. Charles Trolley to be a convenient way to experience much of what Saint Charles has to offer. The Saint Charles Trolley has a lift to provide access for riders using wheelchairs, scooters, crutches, walkers, or other mobility aids. *Wheelchairs and scooters are required to be 100% secured using fastening straps located in the wheelchair area.For the comfort of riders, no pets are allowed. Service animals only.  The Saint Charles Trolley operates seven days a week:  Monday - Saturday  11:30 a.m - 9:30 p.m.  Sundays  11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.  For more information on the Trolley, visit www.stcharlestrolley.com

MO RIDES Transportation Information

MO RIDES is a transportation referral service recently established to provide free assistance in helping people find the most affordable public transportation options to meet their individual needs.  MO RIDES can especially benefit senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and those with low-to-moderate incomes by helping them locate a transportation company that will get them to job interviews, work, medical appointments and other places in and around St. Charles County.  Contact MO Rides between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a referral to a transportation company. Many of the companies operate 24/7. There is no fee to call MO Rides for assistance, and you pay the transportation company of your choice once a ride is scheduled.  For more information, call 636-359-4656.   Visit the MO Rides Website
